Student Engagement (SE)
Mission/Vision Statement:
The Student Engagement Board aims to ensure students feel connected with and involved in campus life through fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and vibrant campus community in which students feel their voices are heard. Through developing and implementing regular student engagement and outreach initiatives, our goal is to increase the opportunity for students to voice their experiences, ideas, concerns, and frustrations. By gathering this feedback from the student body and placing an emphasis on diversity, access, and inclusion when designing all initiatives and services, the Student Government Association will then utilize it in order to work toward improving overall student life and experience at Butler.
Overall Goals:
To increase SGA's presence and visibility on campus
To provide students with a safe and confidential platform to voice ideas, concerns, experiences, frustrations, questions, and general feedback & offer direct feedback follow-ups
Ensure students know the purpose, role, and responsibilities of SGA
Ensure students know what SGA resources and services are available to them
Support the student body overall and support student organizations and leaders on campus
